Obituary: Gertrude (Bausman) Schoenhard

Gertrude (Bausman) Schoenhard

Gertrude (Bausman) Schoenhard was the daughter of Nicholas Jr and Catherine (Hebenstreit) Bausman and a sister to my great-grandmother, Viola (Bausman) Davis Hickman.

I don’t really know anything about Gertrude or her family, except that my grandfather, Stanley Davis, enjoyed visiting his South Dakota cousins.  I’ve seen a few pictures from those visits!

Her obituary appeared in the Daily Republic in Mitchell, South Dakota on Thursday, July 10, 1969.
