  • My mother, Linda Lightcap, has spent years researching the John and Mary Lightcap family. Without her hard work, research skills and perseverance, the familial links would not have happened. Without her research on Robert, Levi, and especially, John Lightcap, I would be lost.
  • Carol Harner is a fellow researcher and Lightcap “cousin” who provided me invaluable information on the families of Angeline (Lightcap) Lawrence and Mary Jane (Lightcap) Brooks. She’s conducted extensive research on these lines, and her insight has been extremely helpful.
