Unidentified Photos from Viola Bausman

Viola Edith (Bausman) Davis

My great-grandmother, Viola (Bausman) Davis Hickman, left a lot of photos when she died in 1974. Her daughter-in-law - my grandmother- Marian (Bohnsack) Davis has had them since Viola's passing.  Well, now my grandma is 90 years old and suffering from Alzheimer's. When I went to visit her a few weeks ago, I went through boxes of old photographs.  My mom also went through tons of photos.  There are so many beautiful and unidentified pictures that it's heartbreaking. Family History

I’ve been researching my family history for about 10 years, give or take.  About 5 years ago, I gave up using software that needed to be installed on a computer. Instead I use ancestry.com’s system.  It allows for me to collaborate with my mom about research and let other family members look at it.  If it was only on my computer, I would not have the collaborative opportunity.  Whether this is  a good or bad thing is open to debate.
