Ellen (Lightcap) Jones Lawrence, daughter of John Lightcap and Mary Chamberlin, died on February 5, 1895, in Bloomville, Seneca Co, Ohio, at the home of her daughter Anna (Lawrence) Carson.  She's buried at Rock Creek Cemetery in Seneca Co, Ohio. The notice of her death was published in the Tiffin Daily Tribune, Seneca Co, Ohio. Marriage: Eleanor (Lightcap) Jones and John Lawrence

Eleanor "Ellen" (Lightcap) Jones was the sister of my 3rd great-grandfather, Levi Lightcap.  Her first husband was Samuel Jones who died in 1838.  They had a son, William Jones, who was killed in action at the Battle of Stone River,  one of the bloodiest conflicts of the Civil War. Ellen remarried on December 30, 1841, in Seneca, Ohio, to John Lawrence, a widower with a young son. John's wife Sarah passed away on January 5, 1841. Hattie Brooks was the daughter of Samuel and Mary Jane (Lightcap) Brooks.  Mary Jane was the sister of my ggg-grandfather, Levi. Hattie married her first husband, Anson Miley, on Christmas Day 1872 when she was 16 years old.  He was 33. Their son, Drayton Luther Anson Miley, was born January 1874. Anson died in October 1875 leaving Hattie a widow.   Hattie married James Leiby in May 1876. Samuel Brooks was married to Mary Jane Lightcap, the sister of my ggg-grandfather, Levi Lightcap.  Mary Jane died in 1877, and in September 1878 he married Mary Wiest.  His obituary was published in the Tiffin Daily Tribune on January 20, 1914.
