Oath of Allegiance: Valentine Schoenhard

I found a xerox copy of the Oath of Allegiance for Valentine Schoenhard in my grandparents’ original edition of “History of Jo Daviess County, …” (1878).  Valentine took the Oath of Allegiance in New York, New York on October 25, 1853. My grandfather‘s aunt Gertrude (Bausman) married Lester Harvey Schoenhard.  (Valentine Schoenhard was Lester’s grandfather.)

I just happened to google Gertrude Schoenhard today and found information submitted by you. My husband’s grandfather is Virgil Schoenhard son of Lester Schoenhard. I’ve been doing some famiy history stuff off and on for the past 10-15 years. I would love to have a copy of the Oath of Allegiance you have for Valentine Schoenhard. Or would like to correspond with you about some family history stuff.
