I found an envelope containing four pictures.  Written on the outside of the envelope was:

We think these pictures are some of Uncle Lester’s Schoenhard family that live in Belote, Wis. Possibly some of his half sisters family. Also related to Ernie Schoenhard. Betty S. wasn’t sure, really didn’t get to know them. Uncle Lester used to visit a 1/2 sister named Lillian. We think she married a Stadel.

I don’t recognize the handwriting, so I’m not sure who gave these photos to my grandmother. There are Schoenhard relatives on my grandfather’s side of the family.  I assume that the Uncle Lester Schoenhard referenced was married to Gertrude Bausman.  Gertrude was sister to Viola (Bausman) Davis Hickman, mother of my grandfather Stanley Davis.
