Transcription of funeral card:
In Loving Remembrance of
Mrs. Laban Davis
Born Jan. 21, 1896.
Died Oct. 24, 1917.
Age 21 yrs. 9 mos. 27 days
Gone but not forgotten
Farewell, dear; but not forever,
There will be a glorious dawn;
We shall meet to part–no never!
On the resurrection morn.
Tho’ thy darling form lies sleeping
In the cold and silent tomb,
Thou shall have a glorious waking
When the blessed Lord doth come.
How fortunate to have this remembrance.
