Ancestor records of Albert Wallace “Wally” Lightcap, my paternal grandfather, are found here including family histories and descendant reports, cemetery photos, biographies, marriage records, newspaper articles, and obituaries.
My grandfather was born on September 15, 1914, in McIntosh, Corson Co, South Dakota, to Ernest and Henrietta (Doose) Lightcap. He married my grandmother, Eunice Strelesky, on March 17, 1936, in Freeport, Stephenson Co, Illinois. They had seven boys. My grandfather died November 13, 1975, in Dubuque, Dubuque Co, Iowa.
I’m always looking for obituaries, photos, records, so if you have something of interest, please share! I don’t have everything on this blog. A lot of my information is on Ancestry (see Lightcap-Davis Family Tree). Family pictures and additional cemetery photos are on Flickr. I’ve put lineage information on WeRelate.
