Firestone Cemetery is a family cemetery located in Kosciusko County, Indiana, on land owned at one time by Samuel Firestone Jr, nephew of my gggg-grandmother Rebecca (Firestone) Smith. Rebecca is one of a handful of people buried at Firestone Cemetery.
Rebecca Firestone was the wife of Christian Smith, and mother to my ggg-grandmother Mary (Smith) Lightcap. Rebecca’s parents were Nicholas and Anne “Nancy” (Lang) Firestone. Her siblings were Samuel Sr, George Washington, and Sarah aka Sally.
I believe Rebecca’s husband, Christian Smith, is buried at Oak Hill Cemetery in Kirklin, Clinton County, Indiana. He died in 1874.
Rebecca and Christian had five daughters and three sons. I’ve identified the names of seven children: Rachel, Sarah, Mary, Nancy, John, George and Allen. One girl remains unidentified.

At the time of Rebecca’s death, five of her children were living. I know that Mary and John died before Rebecca.
Many thanks to Laurie Voss for taking these pictures for me, and to RAOGK.org for their fantastic website which put me in contact with Laurie.

Hello! Rebecca was my gg-grandfather, Albert Smith’s grandmother. Would you be able to tell me where in Kosciusko this cemetery is located? I grew up in the Warsaw area.
