1. WILLIAM LIGHTCAP, son of John Lightcap and Mary Chamberlin, was born 14 April 1813 in New Jersey. He married ELIZABETH BOARDER on 28 January 1836 in Baltimore, Baltimore County, Maryland. She was born in 1808 in Maryland. Elizabeth died of consumption on 23 March 1872 in Eden, Seneca County, Ohio. She was buried 25 March 1872 in the Chapel graveyard after services at the Methodist church.  The name of the church is unknown. William died 10 October 1872 in Starke County, Indiana. He’s buried at Pioneer Cemetery in North Judson, Starke County, Indiana.

William Lightcap and Elizabeth Boarder had the following children:

i. WILLIAM JONES LIGHTCAP was born on 23 December 1837 in Gettysburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania. He died on 26 April 1925 in Valparaiso, Porter County, Indiana. He married SARAH A. AUSTIN on 02 October 1878 in Kosciusko County, Indiana. She was born in 1853 in Ohio. She died in February 1917 in Indiana.

ii. REBECCA ANN LIGHTCAP was born on 23 February 1839 in Pennsylvania. She died on 04 July 1844 in Eden, Seneca County, Ohio.
