Louis Bausman was the ninth child born to Nicholas Sr. and Mary (Casper) Bausman. The tenth child, Jacob, died in infancy.  The youngest son to live to adulthood, I don’t know much about Louis, except for what I have gleaned from official records.  Louis was a brother of Nicholas Bausman Jr, my maternal grandfather’s grandfather….
