Tracking down the siblings of my great-grandfather, John Joseph Strelesky, has been challenging. Fortunately, there aren’t too many people with this last name, so when I find it, I can usually determine pretty quickly whether or not they are related.
One night I was using FamilySearch.org and found the marriage certificate of Rose Streletzky and Joseph Weber. Rose was Jack’s older sister. She married Joseph Christoph Weber on September 22, 1893, in Chicago, Illinois.
From the documents that I’ve seen, her last name is consistently spelled Streletzky. The rest of her family uses Strelesky as the spelling.
Rose and Joseph had nine children; I know the names of eight: Frank, Marian, Lenora, Josephine, Joseph Jr, Amiel, Amelia, and John Henry. An unidentified boy died before 1900.

I am doing My family genealogy right now. I am Joseph Weber’s great grand daughter. HOW EXCITING! I am having quite a challenge looking up the siblings of Rose so I understand what you are talking about! I don’t have ANY info on the Strelesky side, so if you could help me any that would be much appreciated!
